(sad face.) Last year I sold a painting that I didn’t think was particularly good, this year I actually had something I was proud of showing. Eh. Life’s weird like that I guess.

The terrible monster is my first knitted monster, and he is terrible. Terribly awesome, that is.

My other monster is technically finished, but naked (I knit accessories for all of my monsters) . Luckily he is not to bashful about it. Behold, Lord Monstleroy:

Lord monstleroy does not hide under children's beds. he has people to do that for him.

I still want to knit him up a tuxedo jacket and a smoking jacket, but that’s been put aside for some time now.

The third is one I made for a craft swap over on Craftster. Her name is Sheena and she is a punk rock superhero.

There are, of course, many sketches of other monsters lying around my room, but I haven’t even separated them into piles of what is to be knit, drawn, or shrinky-dinked. Another thing to add to the list.

I deleted my Wordpress blog accidentally, but I was going to delete all the content anyway. I want to be more focused and interesting, but I am too busy right now. I will fix the theme and put all sorts of cool stuff on here after I finish my grad school application.

Things to look forward to:

-soda-making adventures

-monsters of all kinds: knitted, drawn, written about, maybe a paper toy or two

- Free knitting patterns and paper crafting tutorials (hopefully bi-monthly but we will see. It’s something to aim for, though)

- Some sort of online fiction (of the non-fan variety) either a series of connected shorts or an actual novel.

-pics of my latest fiber and paper projects.

-links and recs of other peoples cool stuff
